Position Title: Warehouse Worker
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Department: Processing / Packing / Inventory (varies by role)
Reports To: Shift Supervisor / Warehouse Manager
Job Summary:
As a warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for processing, cleaning, packing, and/or preparing seafood products in a clean, efficient, and safe manner (as per the position). The role often includes working on a production line and maintaining hygiene and safety standards in accordance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Handling raw fish and seafood (e.g., cleaning, gutting, filleting, trimming)

Operating machinery for cutting, skinning, or packaging

Weighing and sorting products by size and quality

Packing seafood into containers, boxes, or vacuum-sealed bags

Labeling and recording product information (e.g., date, weight, type)

Maintaining cleanliness of equipment, tools, and work area

Following food safety and hygiene regulations

Working efficiently on a fast-paced production line

Reporting any equipment issues or product defects to supervisors
Requirements:

Physically fit and able to stand for long periods

Comfortable working in cold, wet environments

Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 25kg depending on the role)

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Willingness to follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols

Previous experience in food production or seafood processing (preferred but not required)

Basic English or local language skills (for safety and communication)
Working Conditions:

Cold, refrigerated factory environment (typically 0°C to 10°C)

Shift work, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime
